For the smooth running operations of any organisation, there is great need for a good and vibrant leadership. Having realised the importance of the role an organised leadership plays, CZSS students are today, the 4th March 2012 form 2:00 pm, set to elect the new prefect council that will be in office in the academic year beginning 2012/2013.
The leaders will be elected democratically. Every student who is contesting in the elections will be given equal chance of being elected. "It will be a free and fair election. We have included members of staff as well as students representing almost all contesting members to monitor the election process," said Mr M. Kadzuwa, a teacher in the school and a member of elections committee.
The students who are eligible to contest are those that are in Form 3. However, all students are eligible voters.
Among many other duties, the Students Prefects Council works as a voice of students to the school administration. On the other hand, the management of the school is made easy with the help of the prefects.
