Voting started at 14:00 hours and ended at 16:00 hours of Sunday, 4th March, 2012. Form 4 students were not allowed to participate in the voting process. Each student (Form 1 to 3) was allowed to vote once for each candidate on each portfolio. If found voting more than once, appropriate discipline measures were to be applied. Voting was by means of ballot papers and was done by ticking against a candidate of a person's choice.

No candidate was allowed to conduct any campaign activity on the voting day. If found doing so, the Electoral Commission was to disqualify such a candidate.

Counting of the votes commenced immediately after the voting process closed down. Results were announced on Tuesday, 7th March, 2012 at 3:30 pm in the Assembly Hall. The occasion was graced by the headteacher of the school, Mr A. mjima and many other teachers. These candidates are to serve the school for the 2012/13 academic year. Should any candidate bleach any rule of the school, he/she will be stripped the position and it will be given to another person.
